Click the icon to the right to begin updating your computer. The update process verifies that your computer is prepared for the Westminster network. Microsoft regularly releases updates to Windows designed to correct Windows security holes. WC requires that your computer have all available critical updates installed. These updates are free to download.

Click the icon to the right to install Anti-Virus Software. Make sure you have anti-virus software on your computer and that your virus definitions are up-to-date. Westminster College provides free anti-virus software for your computer.

If your anti-virus software does not have anti-spyware capabilities, you will need separate anti-spyware software. Westminster College provides free anti-spyware software for your computer which is included in the Microsoft Forefront installation. Click the icon to the right to install Anti-Spyware Software.

When everything is up-to-date, you're ready to scan and register your computer.
